Description
Thermocouple protection tubes are used to cover a type-k thermocouple inside a kiln to protect ware from small pieces of metallic oxide that can be shed from the thermocouple as the kiln fires. Thermocouple tubes are 12” long but be cut to length on a diamond saw. Inner diameter is .49” to accommodate a .46” diameter Type-K thermocouple. Tube are made from mullite and are rated to 2750 degrees Fahrenheit
