Sheltowee, a butter smooth midrange brown stoneware, is one of our classic claybodies and now it’s available as a liquid decorating slip! Get extra depth and richness from your glazes just by applying a few coats of Sheltowee decorating slip to your favorite claybody. Or leave it raw for a rustic brick red color.
Application Notes: For best results, apply to greenware and bisque on before glazing. Can be applied to bisque, but care should be taken to keep coats even and minimal (2-3 coats). Recommended for dinnerware when covered with a durable dinnerware-recommended glaze. Agitate before application (Stir or shake).
