Description
Shape 3 is a 5" wide Sherrill Mudtool and gives a good sweep across the clay. This is a good rib for throwing larger objects. The Green Medium (G3) or Blue Firm (B3) ribs are preferred by some potters because they are stiffer and bite into the clay.
These polymer ribs are made of unique flexible materials that are resistant to wear and the formation of burrs. We've found that with general use these ribs become burnished over time.
The red ribs are composed of very soft polymer.
