Description
Long and lean, the Large Platter Rib is designed to provide good compression when making plates and platters (size 11.38' x 1.75"). It enables proper compression of the clay to avoid cracks that sometimes develop. The Large Platter Rib is made with a stiff polymer but still offers some flexibility.
These polymer ribs are made of flexible materials that are resistant to wear and the formation of burrs. We've found that with general use, this rib material becomes burnished over time.
The green ribs are composed of a medium flexible polymer.
