A beautiful clay for woodfiring. Gives a hint of speckle and takes flashing slips well. Contains 60 mesh Silica sand. Takes a lot of abuse on the wheel or in slab form and won't be finicky. A favorite earthy stoneware for Wood/Salt/Soda firing. It can also be raku fired, but must be bisqued to ^02 in this case.
